percs and teeth

does anyone know about teeth and percs i did not see my question posted right or maybe i did my teeth seem to be falling out is this normal i have been on them about a year or little over

no just swallowing them but sides of teeth just flaking off last night had bowl of soup and part of tooth came off this is getting scary with no insurance and fillings about to go

are you chewing them ? That will mess them up really well

I have been on Oxycodone (everyday) for 7 years and havent had any problems with my teeth.

Thanks for this info, I had no idea! I have had tooth problems predating opiate use but now I'll be more vigilant about what I'm taking.

Opiates and teeth dont go together at all.  Most of us have or had problems with them.  Teeth problems can happen years after we have quit too.        sara

I have had a lot of problems with my teeth too I have a longer history of abuse tho. When I was in w/d from oxi my face hurt real bad and I looked it up on web md and it did say wd would cause facial pain.  now I have spent 4,000 at the dentist. did you teeth hurt bad during wd? I guess it is related but may not be for everyone.
