Rick and Kyle: It's also where the expression: "Getting a little long in the tooth" comes from. LOL! Which means: "You're getting old". And you are!!
Regarding the lack of severe withdrawals: I've seen this before on the forum and it seems to happen randomly. It's a guarantee that the next time will be very unpleasant...You dodged a bullet this time. Good luck staying away from oxy!
Sky...
I agree with smart folks above-maybe try accepting it as a gift? We expect the worst because it gives us an excuse to not get well...Maybe it's your body and your brain's way of saying 'Thank you for not putting drugs in me'
I'd say take it-and keep moving forwards towards recovery....Lu
To No Risk...I meant to write, the AMOUNT of drugs and the duration.
To Quitin....Thanks for the gem. I plan to impress the crap out of my kids with that one.
You are very lucky now just cause you got away without bad w/d this time doesn't mean you will the next. So to solve that problem DON"T USE AGAIN but I guess you already know that.
Kyle505 the saying "Don't look a gift horse in the mouth" came from the way they would check the horses age and health by looking at the horses teeth. Just thought you'd like to know and I can finally impart some of that usless knowledge I have rattling around in my noggin lol.
Who knows; maybe age, maybe the about of drugs and duration were different this time. I'd say something like not looking a gift horse in the mouth (never really understood that old saying), but for most of us it is the hell that keeps us from returning because, believe me, if not this time, the next. And each one tends to be worse.
