in my opinion, the doe you are on is not considered abuse. it does pass into your breast milk. are you planning on nursing? again, and you OB will probably concur, that amount would not be harmful to either of you. speak to your OB about your concerns and trust in yourself to do what is best. moms don't have to be in pain. best wishes, sway
yeah i think it might be worse on the unborn to stop now and go into w/ds. You prob be better off to stop after birth
10-20 mgs a day is not major..i think ur ob/gyn is the one who needs to be answering ur questions and as scared pointed out/as long as u r up front with all involved then things will be ok...dont keep ur dr's in the dark tho...small dose in reality...be safe and honety is always the best policy
Hi. I just wanted to say that I am by NO means a Doctor, however....My son is 4and a half now I took norco during my entire pregnancy...with the doctors permission and perscription. He is perfectly healthy and has been since birth. I took the norco because I had a major dental surgery needed and my OB would not allow the surgery during my pregnancy, and he wanted me to have pain relief but without all the tylenol...so he gave me norco. I never took more than I was suppose to and I didn't take it if I wasnt hurting bad enough. When they drug test you and the baby at birth...they can tell if the drug levels in your blood are of theraputic levels or of abuse levels. Now as far as if it will show up in your baby I can't answer that...I don't remember that being an issue..they asked me what had I taken in the last 2-3 daqys and I was honest with them and it was never an issue. I hope this helps relieve a little of your anxiety over this.
