HI Bn,
Your post caught my eye, because I kind of felt the same way... I guess I'm more addicted than I thought.
I was surprised that physical withdrawals would be a problem. I didn't know anything about that until I tried to stop and felt like death on a dish.
Anyway, hot epsom salt soaks help too. Especially after a long (!) day at school.
All the best,
~Lindsay
I found help using milk thistle, marsh mallow and burdock. Made the stomach just a bit easier. Valerian is great for sleep and general, all over support. It has to be your choice to take that last 1/2 pill tho. If u have managed for over a week, just make sure that you really NEED it, not just WANT it. It has to be a need due to the very really chance of either going back a day or two in the withdrawal process or just delaying the inevitable. A choice like that, has to be made by u. Its awesome u decided to quit so quick. In some case, like mine, 5 years passes and u miss all of it and say "what the hell happened"?
laurel gave you good info on what to do. I too am glad you are quitting now. Addiction only gets worse and worse. The mental part happens after the physical part is over. Let us know how you are feeling.......sara
Hi welcome to the forum :)
make sure you are drinking a lot of fluids, Bn... you could also take some vitamins and a complex of B's , this can help you with energy but if you are feeling nauseous... maybe some camomile infusion can help yoou here too ... valerian root helped with my stomach cramps and with anxiety and with sleep.. yeah, valerian root helped me with a lot of issues now that i think of it ....
congrats for the decision of quitting....addiction is always progressive so the sooner you stop, the best :)
