Absolutely not. Why would someone steel Neurontin? That is an anti-seizure med and also used for nerve pain.
hello, i am new to this site, so just read your question. I strongly disagree with your other comments. My husband is always wanting some of my neurotin. He says it gives him a small buzz. it seems to enhance his pain medicine. He is not the only one i have talked to about this either. His friend, Pete, takes them every chance he gets. He even bought a couple from my friend. Neurotin is also used for nerve pain. That is why the md gives them to me and they really help my sciatic nerve pain. My sister got them for neck/shoulder pain and they really help her also. Sometimes, she says they even help her more than her norco. Sorry some got stolen, but yes people do steal those too unfortunately. Good luck, jane in ky.
I hate to say it...but people do take those to get high too. I have had a number of people ask me for some of mine, and I asked them "Why in the world would you want to take those" They said it makes them feel like they are drunk. I know when I first started taking it for nerve pain I would run into walls. It will knock you for a loop if you aren't used to it. You will be surprised at some of the meds people will abuse. I would lock up any meds you have. Good Luck
Its true a drug addict will squeeze the smallest of highs out of any substance.. but I have to agree Neurotin when taken close together or many can really screw you up.. and is nothing to mess with... sorry your pills got stolen.. look to the addicts you know.. lesa
If you take enough of anything you will get a buzz. My friends son (15) stole a bottle of wellburtrin and wound up in the hospital it was very bad. He had like a being on acid effect.
I certainly never got a buzz from nuerontin - it may have helped the other pain meds work - but no thrill from them alone. Now - if you take enough of anything it will alter your brain chemistry - - - dont know if that qualifies as high.........probably as much as otc cough medicine does. But is that a "high" or is that a "psychosis"? - - -
