Had enough- need encouragement!

I have been struggling with opiate addiction for the past 4 years. Had 2 years clean and sober. Just relapsed on tramadol. Been on it for a month. I love it but want to quit so badly. I need words of encouragement to make it this time. I am sick and tired of being sick and tired. I want to live a clean happy life without pills. Please help!

I agree with ricart, walk right now. You have done good otherwise, don't stop now. A month compared to the two years you already had clean? Cmon now. Walk my friend.

If you were clean and you have been on tram only a month I would take advantage and walk away. There will be very little in the way of withdrawal for that short of a run on it.You can do this  just quit. There is no real advantage in tapering with this short of a time of use.Let it go another month and it will completely have it's hooks in you. That is what you should be scared of.

You need to find a local support group some people you can talk to about your problems if you are sick of the drugs you are ready for recovery it wont be easy but nothing worth having is easy and being clean is worth having.  God bless.
