after detox.

Today is my first day after leaving detox and I am home with my husband and kids. I had a week to think about it and it is a scary place inside my head. I have alot of issues that I need to sort out with a counselor. It will be a long process and I will need a lot of support. But I am willing to put in the hard work and do whatever it takes not to relapse.
I want to thank those who had kind words of support for me and if I can be of support for anybody else I would be more then happy to help.

I'm a huge believer in 'paying it forward', and think that any insight and personal experiences you have to offer is always helpful to someone....even if you think it may not be.  I've soaked in so much advice on here that I can't believe there's any room left in my head!  But each of it has helped me in one way or another.

Congrats!...and happy you are home with your family!

Congrats!!!!

I am glad to hear that you did it.  You can always help on here.  If you have first hand experience or knowledge that you gain by going through the process of recovery share it with others.  Also just coming on here and giving someone a sympathetic response often does wonders.  Keep coming back here and getting tips and tools as you go throughout this long journey.  I love your will to fight.
