Good luck with this. It is a journey for sure. You can do this. I'm glad you have support set up and you have all of us too. Methadone is one of the worst ones to come off of so avoid if you can.
Good luck.

Sub is a good route for those who can't quit by other means. Just don't get it off the streets. What will you do after the sub? You may need to join NA and or get counseling.

Find a good sub Dr and make sure you understand the whole plan, including getting off the sub. Find out how long they want you on it etc...Some of those 'getting' off of sub have obtained it illegally and are not under a Dr care. Some have lousy Drs that are not being responsible with their duties. They should inform the patient on the treatment plan suboxone.com can help locate Dr

hi, i have never used sub.  but from what i have heard it keeps you having w/ds while getting off the opiates.  it in itself has addictive qualities, but when done right it has minimal w/ds.  some use it long trem and some short term.  but you do have to come off the sub slowly.  it is a great tool for ending your addiction.  but as with any other tool do your homework
