Hello, I am 14 days clean from taking 20 5mg of Vicodin a day for the last 2 years. I am still weak and have no energy to do anything......not even take a shower or walk the dog. Can anyone tell me when this will pass?
Starting to feel a bit better. Sleep is coming around (only wake up about 2-3 times a night) and leg aches are manageable. I've been going into the steam room at the gym; seems like sweating out the toxins is helping allot. Still have low energy levels, but doing my best to stay active and work through this.
Thanks Jimmy - I plan to do my best to stay active, eat healthy, and throw in several vitamins to help with the malasse. - Keep everyone posted
I was taking exactly the same amount Foggy . Physical W/D about two to three days for me . Now the mental part we are all unique . You may get off easy ! For me it took about a month before the anxiety really started to subside . Hated that ! Like I said you may get lucky because that is a relatively low dose .. Good luck and keep us posted , Jimmy
Let me elaborate. I quit methadone cold turkey about 12 months ago. It was difficult, but I did it. About 6-8 months ago, I started taking 10mg Vicodin again. I take half a pill at a time and never have taken more than 3 10mg per day. With this info - does anyone think my WD symptoms will be better manageable or should I still be gearing up for a very rough couple of weeks? - Thanks in advance for any advice
I've been on 2.5 10mg vicodin's for about 6 months now. Can anyone tell me how the WD's will be or how long they may last?
I cant nor do I want to tell you what to do or how to get through this. But I do know that subs are NOT the way to go. All ur doing by taking some to take the edge off is opening a whole new and bigger can of **** worms. Trust me. whoever tells u it helps is foolish. cause getting off subs is right there with herion. it's so much harder then what ur going through. not to mention a better drug in buzz substance then what ur addicted to now. Guess thats my advice. all ur doing is trading in a toyota colola for a lexus
Congrats for making it this far :) The answer is no and that's all my foggy brain can say. Others will come along and tell you why.
