its weird, he hasnt used that much and now hes on day three and only has bathroom issues. Thats pretty much it. He sleeps and everything seems to be ok, just a few chills now and again. Can he expect the wd's to not be that bad?
This Tuesday will be 30 day clean from Percocet. I've been abusing for the past 6 months between Percocet and Oxycontin. whichever was available at the time. My last trip to the Dr. got me a bottle of 90 5/325 Percs. and I went through the entire bottle in 7 days. Basically I had another 3 weeks until I could get my next script. This time I've decided not to go back and get myself off of them.
Absolutely correct that the first 3-4 days is the worst. a feeling of helplessness stomach cramps, diarrhea flu like symptoms. After that there will be another 3-4 weeks of sleeplessness and depression. when you do sleep, you wake up in a puddle of sweat. I'm on my 4th week and just now I'm starting to feel a little better.
will be within the next 24 hrs that the next dose will be missd..alot depends also on route of use/and dose per day...habits run deep and when time for the next dose comes round..the person usually feels the lack of DOC
oxycontin is a time released drug so if swallowed could be up to 12..maybe 24 hrs..if snorted it could be 3-4 hrs..or less..habits change all..if this person used daily then daily will be the rule of thumb for the brain missing the dose as a rule
glad u r helping ur friend...keep us posted
It depends on how much was be taken and for how long. Everyone is different. Usually withdrawal symptoms will present at 24 hours.
I just went through it what was she taking? I just now feel better i stopped on Monday. tuesday i wanted to die and yesterday was better but i took ambien through the entire withdrawls and slept all day and night until I felt better.
Once the last does wears off he or she will begin craving. For vicodin it's about 6 hours. Personally it was usually the next day that things started feeling cra-ppy but it's probably a little different for each person.
It usually gets a little worse each day for the first 3-4 days with days 3 or 4 being the worst and then it gets noticeably better each day.
The severity of the withdrawals varies greatly depending on the amount the person was taking daily and the length of time he or she was using. From reading the posts on here I've noticed that it also varies from person to person even among those who were using similar amounts.
