oxycontin - why the sneezing?

I've been weaning myself of oxycontin for over a month now and Yesterday, I got down to ONLY 1 oxy for the whole day. So, I'm happy, I'm doing it, It's Hard.  I don't feel well, I feel like ****, runny nose, achy, nauseated, all that and more.

But I am sure curious --- the whole time I've been on these oxycontin's immediately after taking one, I (lots of times) go into this sneezing frenzy, even on this low does. Anyone know why?

Sneezing is very common............

I usually take sudafed or something like that for the runny nose and sneezing.

Sneezing is normal for opiate withdrawal.

im in methadone withdrawal and i sneeze 3-4 times at a time throughout the day. i thinks its a normal symptom.
