please help trying to detox at home from methadone and heroin

hello ppls i have a question i am currently takeing methadone and her-ion i dont use heroin  thru needles i snort it when i cant get methadone i wanted to know how to detox off theses devils with out feeling like am going to die.  I heard you get bad when detox off methadone.  I am  28 with three children and  i want my life back please dont judge me i started like 3-4 yrs ago i really dont want it to get worse i do like maybe a 20 a day and/or 55 mg of methodone every other day.  I have real bad asthma where i get sent to the hospital in the ICU if i dont have my meds.  I just recently started takeing magnesium zinc tabs and b-6 they help me actually ween myself down from where i was at with minimal withdrawal symptoms    I now have heard that gabapentin helps with withdrawls, i have some 600mgs my question is how do i detox at home with these meds also i have serquels to sleep so please some one tell me how to take these meds to detox at home god bless TIA

I agree with IBKleen. Methadone made me think I had pneumonia for months. It really is not safe with asthma. I went into respiratory arrest and I don't have asthma. If you insist on doing this alone at home, continue to taper and call a doctor for help. Nobody is judging you here, you are in a safe place with wonderful helpful people. Really, be careful with the methadone, especially mixing it with other meds. I hope you will post and tell us how you are. Good luck and keep posting.

I am sorry hun but no one here can help you with this. You stated that you have Asthma and that is a serious medical condition. the medications you are taking retard the respiratory system so you are on dangerous ground. Taking the Seroquel with the Methadone is also dangerous. You need to be medically supervised during your detox and that will have to be in an institutional setting. Please don't try this yourself. Either go to the hospital and ask for help or phone your doctor and ask for help.
