Day 17...

And feeling decent.
Mornings are by far my toughest part of the day. Trying to get up and moving w/out the pills.
Sunday's are also my toughest day because I know when Monday morning rolls around, it will just be me and my 1 yr old and a big quiet house.
The mental part of this has been hell. I have had no cravings but the extreme anxiety is more than I can handle some days.
I will get through this, I will!
I praise God for this forum and the people here.
xoxo's to you all!

Maybe you should purchase a yoga or exercise video since u can't really get out. That will take your mind off things for awhile, u will feel like someone is there with u, and you will be releasing endorphines :o)

I'm glad to hear your trying to get out. But I know it's hard when the weather won't cooperate. Can you do something inside to take your mind away for a while?? As for the sleep guys. Not that I'm glad you are not sleeping. But I was begining to worry, it's nice to hear I'm not the only one that is chasing sleep. Being up all night is the worst. I'm not only up but have to be quiet because my husband and son have to work the next day!! I keep telling myself, it took me this long to get in the shape I'm in and I"M GETTING BETTER EVERYDAY!! So I'm hoping sleep will catch me soon. Just so you know. I've never been good at the sleep thing even before my addiction/withdrawal etc...

Thanks momma!   I know it will come and u r so right by saying how much energy just 30 minutes sleep can give. I never thought it was possible to stay awake this long and truth be told, I never imagined sleep being this big an issue when i started this. I hope u and the kids feel better and great job on 19 Clean Days!!!!

Sleep will come... you'd be surprised at how long you can go on 30 minutes... our bodies are amazing! I have no suggestions for you, at this time, but I just wanted to encourage you. I have two little ones, 5 and 7 and they have been sick... now I've got it, and all in all I'm on day 19. Without anything! It took a while for sleep to finally find me but the 4 hrs that I get... I charish. Try to stay active it really does help.

I do regret not moving around in the first week of my detox....I was just so exhausted and as I get ready for my 15th night right now I definately see the improvements in what I am able to do each day. But the sleep....I can't  connect to it....I just don't sleep.... I am seriously so lucky to get 30 minutes uninterrupted sleep at some point in the night. mornings I have to push myself to get out. But once outside I feel better. The sleep issue is seriously becoming a problem. I tried alot of people's suggestions but all to no avail!

Unfortunately I can't really get out like I wished I could. We live in the country and it's only been averaging 30 degrees lately and we have lots of snow.
I do try to bundle my daughter up good and get out for 20-30 minutes everyday but it's just too cold for her.
I would love to be able to get out and take a good walk everyday, believe me!

Hang in there. I may not have a little one. But unless my baby (who is 26yrs. old ) is home, I DREAD being home alone. Nothing but time to think and have major anxiety. Yes getting up and functioning without pills is the worst. Although I have yet to have a night's sleep. So making myself function every day is hard!! Mornings are the worst. I want to go get a part time job at least, But honestly I don't think I'm ready yet. Going to try and take a nice long walk tomorrow. Can you do that?? Get up and out of your house for a while?? It seems to help me!
