I am quiting 120-160mg per day. I have a few 5mg methodones to smooth over the WD. This is day 2 and so far so good. How many days before the oxy is out of my system? Thank you for your help.

I agree that if the Meth is not a Rx you need to get rid of them and that you feel fine because Meth is an Opiate therefore you will not go into WD until you stop taking everything.  If the Meth is a Rx please follow your doctors instructions. Good Luck!  You can do this.

I've never used methadone but as it is an opiate and those were my DOC, I would not take them to aid in my wd's as I think they might just prolong it. Were they prescribed by your doctor to help you through this or did you get them elsewhere? If they were not prescribed, your best bet is to flush them now and get these wd's over with. You are already on day 2 and the worst is just about to hit. Let those days pass without the methadone and you probably won't regret it. Keep busy and hydrated and by day 5 or 6 you will feel so much better! You might want to look up the Thomas Recipe from the health pages here for vitamins and supplements that have proven to help with wd's. You can do this!

The oxy should be out of your system 2-5 days (fro mwhat I've read) to up to a week dependent on your body weight, usage, and for how long.

Congrats on day 2!!! I think since methadone is a opiate, you are not smoothing wd, your prolonging your addiction.... Just keeping your self not dope sick...

I think CT is the best. We've tried everything else, jacuzzi/hot baths are the best!!!  Just give it time, and definately force yourself to get out of the house! You'll be tired, when u return you'll feel great!!!!!
