rehab tomorrow!!!

im going in to rehab tomorrow...in rockford illinois. its the reformers unanimous womens home....its a christian based program. im sooo nervous but excited. has anyone ever been to rehab? any advice? i hope they take care of me when im in there. when i took my subs and stuff and just detoxed at my house, i was in control and if i didnt feel up to doing anything i could just lay in bed. i dont know maybe this will be good for me.its a 6 month program...and i dont wanna be in there the whole time because ill totally miss out on my summer.im thinkin bout stayin in there for like 2 months. i dont know maybe ill like it and stay longer. i know that this is the only possible way ill succeed with my sobriety.wish me luck! love u guys

HI!  I'm in rehab as we speak.  I've been here 15 days today.  Its the best decision I've made in years.  Its been hard believe me, but its nothing compared to trying it at home.  Good luck and STICK IT OUT!! There will be days you just want to go home at first, but DONT give in.  It will go away and you will be so relieved you actually stayed.  At least thats what happened to me so far.  I was in the detox unit for the first 7 days, not I'm in the regular residential program.  Its taught me ALOT.  Anyway let me know if you have any questions, I dont get much computer time in here but I'll try to check on ya.  Good Luck!!! :D

Good luck - I was in rehab and the biggest mistake I made was not participating in the different things - I was too afraid I'd say something stupid.  Take everything and all the advice and help you can get - my advice!
