Girl, you pull them big girl panties up and kick them pills to the curb...You can do this...from one southern girl to another...I just hit 60 days clean...and everyday just keeps getting better.
Stay positive and tell yourself that you can and will get thru the wd's. Glad to see you are back.......sara
hi. i can give no better advice than what worried878 posted. i tried to do it with everything but the steps and nothing worked until i put my stubbornness and pride away and started listening to folks in the rooms of aa and na. it works if you work it. good luck, gm
well try turning your life over to Jesus Christ...i have and all my depression is gone and have no cravings.. if you surreneder over to him he will take it all away for you
the first 90 days r tough and unfortunately 80% or more will relapse before the 90 day mark..hence 90 meetings in 90 days..this is how long it takes the brain to catch up and produce the endorphins we need to fight the depression and fatigue that follows pill abuse..we took our endorphins away..the body has a way of compensating for any change..when we add outside endorphins the brain quits making them/or a reduction in making them/cos it knows it is getting an outside supply..then u take that supply away//the body is a wonderful thing and the brain will catch up again..just most epople can not wait it out and cave..so few go to meetings..maybe 20% of the people here attend meetings regularly..and that is our defense to make it to the 90 day mark,,this is why exercise is so important..it kick starts the brain and makes it produce endorphins..hang tight.keep trying..and keep posting
Yes you can do this. Funny how everybody is so scared of the w/d's but it is the mental part afterwards I think is the hardest.
Post often.
