Norco withdrawls bad anxiety

I'm 42 been takin Vic and Norco off and on since 2008. I have had many ovarian surgergies and one just last month. I was taken the pills 5-7 10/325 norcos a day not just for pain but somedays just to get through my day and deal with just everyday issues. I was noticing I needed more and more just to have the same effect and I refused to go anymore than 7.  Not to mention I have gained 18 pounds on this stuff.  I am a single mom of 1 who is 11 and I cannot take time off of work or stop being a mom. Monday at 11am was my last pill and here it 2nd day and my sleep Monday night was horrible and last night i took tylenol PM, nite/sleep with Melaton in it. I've been excersing but last night i took a night off. With all that sleep aid I went to bed at 7:30 woke at 9:30, then woke at 11:30 then woke at 3:30 and then my alarm at 5:30. I have diarreah, not really the RLS although I did have that Monday night bad but today the anixety is kickin my butt. It's hard to get in to my work here. Does anybody have any suggestions for the anxiety?

Thank you so much for the replies, I actually went to the doctor who has been my OBGYN since I was 14 and he was proud that I took the steps but he would have put me through pain management I told him NO because I here that suboxdone is harder. He gave me ativan to chill on the aniexty but actually I feel so much dam better then I did Monday night. I still have alittle diarreah but last night I actually slept the whole night. The anxiety still comes in spurts but I am glad to be done with the initial crap. With God's help. I really don't like taken the ativan because the next day I feel like I drank to much. I will get back on my excerise routine tomorrow I know it will help to.It's so amazing how quickly these little suckers can effect your life.

The anxiety and the insomnia were the hardest withdrawals to deal with for me. My only suggestions are to keep yourself busy throughout the day as much as possible,,I mean you literally have to pull and push yourself but try and keep moving and stay occupied. Dont clock watch either that doesnt help the anxiety. It was really hard for me in the beginning to try relaxation because I couldnt sit still for very long. I would listen to music,,watch videos of funny things on youtube and play a game on facebook. The insomnia *****,,I slept in intervals as well. Exercise is good,,there is also melatonin and the tylenol PM. Sleep will come,,try and hang in there. Reading also helped me relax and sleep. Keep us posted ((Hugs)0~Bkitty

Hey you are doing great maybe not feeling it thoough!
Great job on the two + days.  It will get better in just a couple of days so hang in there.  Anxiety is a tough one and somewhat unavoidable at least for most of us.Exercise is good and staying busy is good. Also just watching some movies will at least make some time go by.That is what you are in the business of doing at this point-just getting some time to go by without too much anguish.   Lots of people here will have some suggestions to help but I myself think that exercise is the best thing for combating opiate withdrawal.   If you do it then at leats you'll be glad when it's over  lol
