should i just cold turkey now?

i'm lost. I think I may just want to do it tomorrow. I already feel like I'm done, and honestly I feel pretty bad already. I know it'll get worse if I cold turkey. I have sat and sun and mon off and then I work tues wed thurs and then I have 10 days off after that. am I crazy for thinking I could be able to go to work on days 4,5,6??? I just don't want to live like this anymore. I've taken 6 norcos today. 60 mgs of hydro.. do you think I should just do it?! My plan was to go cold turkey on august 24th, but this anticipation is killing me!!! talk to you all soon and thanks for listening.

thanks so much :) I probably couldn't call in sick... mayBE one of the days, but not all 3. At my job you have to have your shift covered by someone else to have the day off. And I'm thinking someone would probably work for me one of the days, but not all three. It is only 18 hours combined... thanks again and if it doesn't happen now, its august 24th NO MATTER WHAT. :)

hi just wanted to chime in and tell you i worked everyday of my detox...i was on wayyyy more oxy that that and was a snorter.  now, mind you i am not saying it was easy, but i did do it.   i made my mind up to quit and i didnt have any days off,,lol.  you can do this, if you really want it bad enough.  and have you thought of any aftercare...you relapsed after 70 days, maybe because you didnt have the tools to stay clean...getiing clean really is the easy part...its the living clean that takes work....good luck

I know how you feel... the anticipation becomes like a giant elephant on your back! I ended up flushing my last pills 4 days earlier than my "stop date" and called in one day.  I had to call in on day 2 of w/d.

Day 4 I started feeling really good, but the pain kicked in on day 5! If you only have to work 6 hr shifts you can totally do it!!! It's all about motivation! If you are motivated- you can and will do it!!

BTW: Cathy is soo right, living clean takes the work- I am struggling big time with that!!

I think you and eringobragh should get clean tomorrow! Keep us posted.

I know you can BOTH do this! Great decisions on getting your life back...

Manda from our talks I KNOW your ATTITUDE IS GREAT! Go for it and be done with it!!!

Erin..you can do this too....life is so much better clean...it's hard to get there but doable!

Now, I am a fan of the Amino Acid Protocols...so I vote you go to GNC and get the stuff. If you can't get it all I really vote for the B12 (liquid/sublingual under tongue) the Ester C (buffered vitamin C more expensive but worth it) calcium & magnesium & melatonin at bed time!!! ANYONE ELSE AM I FORGETTING IMPORTANT ONES TO GET IF $$ IS A PROBLEM?

I also took in higher doses (tapered back from them now) Milk Thistle, Flax Seed Oil.. some I couldn't take due to being on anxiety meds and anti depressants...so if you aren't on any...check those out!

I won't be around til tomorrow evening but please I want to hear an update!!! From BOTH of you!!! You can do this!!!

cathy- I may seek aftercare this time, I had to have surgery on my shoulder after I was clean for the 70 days last year so thats what caused the relapse. this time I'm praying there won't be any setbacks! good to know you worked too, and survived? :) Gives me hope. thanks you!

erin-we should do this together..not fun!! what were you taking and how much, for how long? ttys!
