some of my observations about opium

i work with my hands and get small nicks and cuts regulary, while i was taking pain meds for my back injury i noticed cuts would take forever to heal i thought it was just getting old but, im 10 months off any pain meds now and my cuts are healing faster?

also, and this is weird,

my farts havent had any smell  (none) for the longest time, now at 10 months off the pills they are starting to smell again.

i know opium messes with us in many ways but these are 2 things that really made me wonder :)

Not surprising. Opiates suppress your immune system. As to the other.....probiotics maybe would help?
