suboxone withdrawel

I have been on suboxone for 3 months--not entirely. not every day becuz i did use here and there. i used for two weeks straight then i took two ml of suboxone one day the nthe next day i took i ml and now it has been 50 hours since i took anything. i am narthatic-- no fuel and my legs are crampy but i have to say last year i got clean i used for 8 months straight no breaks at all--this time i took a week at a time of fand had very little habit. do u think i am throug hthe worst now. i cant sleep but i take serequil. i guess my question is what other things can i do to amke the next 30 days easier. i know that i am withdrawing from opaites not the suboxone. if i take suboxone off and on like 1 ml every two or three days is it going to interupt the proces of my body getting back to normal. i dont think so becuz my habit wasn't bad. please if anyone know abouthtis stuff please help me understand

sub may help some but it's no miracle drugs Read Missy's post a few back. There are no miracle drugs for addiction just a lot of hard work, determination ans some drugs that may help at first. To get clean is one thing but to stay that way is another. ll best

I agree w/nursegirl.  Although you think the sub is helping you the way you are taking it, it may actually be aggravating the process.  Like nursegirl said, take 0.5ml every day then in a week decrease to 1/4 ml then another week 1/4ml every other day and so on.  The way you are taking it now is confusing your brain.  It sticks around longer than opiates so even though you are going 48-50 hours at a time, this is when the drug is actually decreasing in your system and therefore you are just drawing it out longer.  a continuous dose is best then begin lowering the continuous dose for fewer side effects.  That or just stop taking it all together.  Try going 100 hours, if you make it that long, try for 200 and so on.  Whatever you decide to do, you are trying and that is awesome.  You have made some great choices so far to quit so keep it up and keep posting.

I agree that the "getting clean" aspect is what is important either way.

However, sub is not meant to be taken as you are taking it...basically, it isn't as effective that way.  That it seems to be working for you is great...but I'm just asking you to consider that indeed the minimal symptoms you ARE experiencing are more likely due to the erratic dosing of the sub, vs the opiates.  Just a thought.

Not saying you should all of a sudden start taking it 4 times daily...but you MAY want to regulate the dose a bit...like try a low dose every other day....or an even lower dose ONCE a day, then start tapering fairly rapidly (like after a week).  That may be something to consider if you are still having a lot of "ups and downs" with the symptoms as you seem to be.

Best of luck!  Congrats to you for your success so far.

Oh please it took almost 14 days for the WD from Sub to hit me and let me tell you it was bad! I have never felt that sick in me entire life! As soon as I took one again it took about 2 hours and I was back to feeling much better whatever you do do not stop it CT please it will hit you as soon as you know it and you will be sick sick sick. I was only on it for 2 months and I got I'm talking deathly ill so please don't make the same mistake I did.
