It sounds like you are dependant on them right now, and that this could lead to an addiction problem. BE CAREFUL

I had spine surgery with 3 herniated disk, 2 removed. one still there. if i do not take it makes me (affordable) pain full but my emotional behaviour has changed. I do think normally but some time lost control during normal conversation.

Look up the actual definition of Addiction, and then ask yourself that question.  Very easy to answer. Good luck!

I to only take 1 to 1.25 hydro 7.5 almost everyday. 6 days a week to be exact. It started with a tooth ache (Root Canal) 3 years ago.I'm now 44 years old and before that did not know what a vicodin pill was. For some reason I found it makes for a better 5 mile run at 5:00 am the next morning so I continued. Never in the morning or early afternoon. But to your question, is it an addiction? For me it has turned into that. I have a supply of about 45 pills left and already worried about how to get them the next time. I 've never taken more and I know the risk. Frankly, I don't want to quit and only will when I have to because there's no more to take.

Good Luck and be carefull.
