I take amitriptyline & neurontin. They usually help if taking @ the same time
yesterday i sat in the bath tub for about 3 hours off and on it helps as long as your in there but at night it was really bad. i wish i knew the answer
i read that the magnisium and calcium help. is this true? dont get the leg thing that bad but my wife cant even sleep in the same bed as me when she gets them.
OHHH i had thee worst restless legs. I kept kicking things, and shaking my legs all day long and even at night I felt like i had to keep tossing and turning. My doctor gave me xanax to help that. I have had to stop taking it and my legs are at it again but its not as bad since coming off of opiates. It will take a couple months, maybe a few but it will lessen as time goes on. :) Be careful with the valium.
the leg kicks for me were the worst..it felt like i rana 100k marathon and couldnt handle moving a second longer, but yet i couldnt stop moving and kicking it was horrendous, i would try taking a higher dose of a benzo(like the valium) cuz that helps a ton with the leg cramps, spasms, kicks, and so on..yes requip could help or lyrica, but you would need to get that from a doctor and that would be harder if you already have everything from the thomas rrecipe, the valium if def. for that along with the extreme anxiety and insomnia, what are you detoxing from? the wrost of it should last three days and then the kicks should get better. by eachday, youre making the best decision of your life, best of luck and stick with it...
You could ask your doc for Requip...it is used for restless leg syndrome. There are a few other meds that could possibly help...one of them being Neurontin. Talk to your doc about it....Other than that, I used a heating pad that wrapped around my legs for that wanting to move constantly feeling...it helped some...not alot, but some. Valium will not help for this.
