Hey everyone...just popping in to say hi to all my good friends here on the forum. I miss you all and think often of you and how this forum changed my life. I am doing well, still clean and going strong. I feel better then I have in years. I have energy, natural energy, which is something i havne't had in years as well.

To all new peeps. My name is lisa, I have been a member of this forum for about a year and half. My DOC was Oxy Contin, in which I used to be able to take about 10-15 80's in one day. My dr. told me I should have died with the amounts I could take. I lost my husband to Oxy's two years ago, and with the help of this forum, I have finally been able to quit.

Well..to everyone struggling with their own addiction, I pray for you all. In my eyes, and from my own experiences, addiction is one of the worst things that could happen to a person. It takes a hold of your life and literally turns it inside out. Not everyone is strong enough to overcome it. And I pray for everyone enduring their own addiction or someone they love. Good luck to all..

Thanks so much. I really appreciate it. I try to get on here as much as I can,. and I find that I have gone back to lurking... Now  that I am sober, I have let so much go that I am swamped everyday trying to get my life back in order. It is amazing what chaos we let happen to our lives while in active addiction..

Cath..I miss you too. I truly do think of each of you all the time. And i wish I could stress to anyone new here, that this forum has all the potential in the world to help battle addiction. Before this forum, I was struggling with sever addiciton and the loss of my husband. I thought there was no end in sight. And NO ONE knew of my problem. Then I came here and met so many of you who had the same problems and some of the answers I so desperately needed. So I hope you are well to sweetie..and I will be here more often...promise!!
