needing some help

Hi All! I am writing to see what you can do for the pains in your legs. I went cold turkey yesterday, and I had a very bad night. I even thought I was seeing things, and I was talking to my kids, and they was'nt even there. That scares me to death. I alredy did all this once before, and made it 2 mths with out anything, until Dec. 1 2007 I thought I had messed my back up, when in fact I didnt, It was found that I had Osteoarthropathy in my spine. This turned out to be very paiful at times, and hard to deal with. My Dr. put me right back on the things I fought so hard to stay away from, but it was too strong, I did it. I know I can do it again, I'm just very scared because of the Arthritis. Can anyone give me some healing words, and things I can do? God Bless You All !

Bananas are loaded with potassium and they help to counteract the runs.

I ate bananas and take one a day vitamins, seemed to help some. Hot baths hot baths. Helped a lot. Potassium helps also, be careful with those read the label. Good luck and stay positive.

An electric blanket ,you can curl right up in it ,it will cover you leg fully and help you relax

Some people are having good results with something from the health store for rls. Also 'Natural Calm" with calcium. That and eat lots of bananas. These all will give you magnesium, calcium and potassium. All are good to help relax muscles. Walking helps to release toxins in the legs too. Drink lots of water and Gatorade.

what and how much were you taking?  You should feel better in a few days..possibly sooner...did you get vitamins and stuff like the thomas recipe to help you.?..hang in there

i have heard it saind that hot baths with epsom salt, heating pads, and excercise will help with the RLS . goingtomakeit is great with this kind of stuff, and so is cathy and avisg. they are all on my friends list, just click my name and they should be there,then go to send message and send them a message. they will probably catch this post and answer here in a lil bit tho. good luck, welcome to the forum, and best wishes with the c/t...

I feel your pain!  My legsw are killing me, I suggest long hot baths with Epsom Salts.  You will get through this like you did the last time.  Just be patient and take it 1 hour at a time.
