I am so sorry that you are feeling so down and out. I know that in the beginning I was having horrible headaches, but in time they did subside. Are you taking any vitamins to help support neuromuscular communication? I had horrible back pain and I found taking Magnesium and Potassium really helped out. Also, there is an Amino Acid Protocol at the bottom right of the page that I found very helpful. I don't know if you have tried attending NA meetings, but I highly recommend you do. NA really focusing on the aspects of addiction and why you started abusing drugs in the first place. If you take the time and work the steps, it will open your eyes to who you truly are, what makes you happy. Its all about self improvement and becoming comfortable in your own skin. Recovery isn't solely about abstaining from drugs. It has a lot to do with changing our behaviors and coping mechanisms, so that life becomes a joy to live. If you ever want to talk, I'm willing to listen. - Kelly
Sorry - I don't remember all your history...Do you have legit pain/medical issues? If so, and the pain is overwhelming, then talk to your doc. If you need meds, take them. Have someone hold your meds, etc.
And on a selfish note, I do miss your sunny posts. Hope you get back there soon.
Restless legs or leg pain from something before? I was told to make sure I take omega 3,6,9 (fish oil) to combat 'the blues' and I can tell it has helped boost my mood a ill. I'm on day five but this isn't my first rodeo if you know what I mean. I remember feeling like a big lump for a few months after kicking those pills and the lack of sleep didn't help. I dunno...exercise and some omega's...just don't go back on that crap - I know it's easier said than done but it's just not worth it. Hang in there <3
