No. Please don't take this is me trying to negate from your motivation to quit. Unfortunately withdrawls can never be completely eliminated, however they can be controled and stabalized to form a more comfortable environment during your taper. It will be much smoother for you, I'm sure.
By weaning off slowly, does it mean that I won't go through any of the withdrawals? Or just less of them? I know when I did it cold turkey, I wanted to die. But I thought doing it this way, I wouldn't have any withdrawals. Is that true?
Ok, I will try it that way and see what happens.
How are you feeling today? I hope you are better.
Your weaning method seems fairly accurate. Keep in mind, that the lower your dose go's, the slower you should wean in attempts to minimize the level of discomfort. I would start cutting it by halves once you've hit the 4th pill. However, follow your body's messages. If it tells you to go slower, than do so, if it tells you to go faster, than ditto. Good luck. try the two 3 times a day if its too much spread them out
I was taking between 12 and 15 50mgs pills. Then I cut down to eight for one week, then seven, and this week six. I have been taking them for four years.
