My last suboxone intake was 0.25 MG on Monday 10/22.  23 days ago to be exact. I was on it for slightly less duration (about 6 months I think) but the dosage was about the same.  Sometimes 8MG/day, sometimes, 4-5, but always atleast a half a strip.  I then realized I was going to no longer have access and had 3 weeks to taper down off from average of 6MG a day to 0.25 and had no choice.

I was scared to death after having gone through a hellish withdrawal from 19 months on opiates in July 2011 and was fearing the worst.  I will tell you honestly, It was very mild compared to to opiate withdrawal, especially coming off such a low dosage like you are.

I even (not proudly) hid it from my girlfriend - who knows my history.  I disguised it as a virus of some sort  and also managed to not miss an hour of work either.  I used amino acid protocal for the first week (thomas recipe).  The worst of the symptoms for me were sensitivity to hot/cold (lasted about 10-14 days), sneezing (still), stomach issues (finally coming around), and sleep (some good nights, some bad).  I'm getting about 6 hours right now which I can live with.

I know if I still has access to them, I would not be clean right now, which is why i'm so glad I was forced to.   The fear of jumping off is hard to overcome but you must confront it.   I know how suboxone is so powerful on the mind as a safety blanket and crutch for addicts.  But in my mind I knew I wasn't truly clean and needed to be off and am SO GLAD ITS OUT OF MY SYSTEM.

At your dosage, the worst of the symptoms will be a week, and they're not all that bad especially if you have something to help you sleep.  Feel free to PM me, I'm happy to help in any way I can.  Best of luck
