I am on day 5, no roxys, but took about 5 subs during the 5 days....panic attack is the worst. any idea how long the wd are?, am i hurting myself by taking subs? "as needed" , i don't mean to be funny here, i need help

There is a moderate interaction between Oxycodone and Serequel, so just ring your doc up now and ask if its ok, you need to tell him about the Subs now also.
Even though you have not taken Oxy's for 5 days, tell him anyway : )

Hi there, i agree, subs saved me from a life of addiction, but maintenance subs, not getting them off the street to use now and again unfortunantly !!
So this is why you need to tell your doc your an addict, because he may have not prescribed you the serequel if he knew, this is a Lethal drug, not to mention its potency!!
You need to go back and tell your doc your detoxing so he can re-evaluate your serequel.
You can overdose on serequel !!!
Its prescribed as a sleeper sometimes, its a anti-psychotic med used to treat schitzophrenia and personality disorders.

if you have a drug addiction to the roxys suboxone will take away the withdrawal symptoms now suboxone is not just something that's used one day here one day not and needs to bethe same dose every day given around the same time for maximum benefit now if you're just using suboxone just until you can get either your Roxy scripts or until you can find more roxys you're doing more harm than good as you are jacking your way up because suboxone is so so strong and going back to using roxies right after suboxone will cause you to feel withdrawal symptoms again because the suboxone  blocks out other opiates until it is out of your system the half life of Suboxone don't quote me on this more in the range of 36hours which means I was very long and severe withdrawal from suboxone if you were using it as a means to an end to stop taking opiates as an addiction and suboxone is a very viable option as with methadone they all come with their own demons but that being sad suboxone has saved many addicted lives

You need to tell your doctor everything. Medications work very different when in combination with other drugs. Call her back spill. Please.

one more thing, my dr gave me seroquel, 25mg....she does nto know that i am detoxing....is the seroquel a good idea?

I hear all of you..and I will not take any subs...that is my plan..I dont want to start something else..do you find that the panic attacks are from detox? can I look forward to them going away?I just feel so lost and alone...thanks to all of you who posted....

I agree. I stopped everything. I had to do it & get it over with. I could not stand one more day on methadone. Please get it over with. There's a price to pay but it's worth it. Your brave & doing the right thing. Keep it up find a meeting keep posting.

I would definatly lay off the subs! You will regret getting caught on the subs, i promise you! You cant treat w/d with other opiates...u have to detox! If u get caught on the subs for any length of time u will then have to detox off the subs and thats a much harder detox.

It's too late for subs in my opinion, and why do you want to trade one thing for another?  I know your prob telling me I just don't know, I don't get it...yes I do..I still remember ugh ....you've came too far baby...look at you...five days clean...anxiety comes from two reasons, our blood pressure goes crazy. Do you have any colidine? I'm spelling way wrong...not kolonopin but clonipine for blood pressure? Most doctors will prescribe... We're anxious for several reasons...blood pressure and pure fear of the whole cleaning up process...if you don't improve you may need some help from doctor..do you have any busbar?. That's another good one..it's a non narc meds...I was so bad off I had to get help with this...I still have major panic attacks but that's another story..it was a untreated issue....but I don't take nothing for it I just breathe my way thu....in thru the nose and out mouth counting to ten in counting to ten out.  Try it...and the hardest thing was learning to ride the wave...ebb and flow...it will get better you are getting better..with each minute each hour and def each day...tell yourself that.  Be proud you are where you are...try to catch a meeting. For some reason they will help settle the nerves. Really.  Kind of like a. Good church service..pumps you up with can do attitude..

you are just prolonging the detox and sub detox is a lot harder and longer than roxy.  if you are medically supervised and they keep you on a tiny dose for a short time.  if you are self medicating you are cross addicting and are just dragging out what will have to happen sooner or later anyway

Agreed. If you are going to take any medication to help get off narcotics it is imperative to do so only under a practitioner certified in substance abuse. Else, as was said you're just switching to another substance or adding to the list of substances you abuse. Have you thought about checking out Narcotics Anonymous?
