I have just weaned off oxycontin ( 90mg./day) but am still taking percocet once or twice a day for pain. I still need it for the pain. I have been having digestive problems so thats way I went off the long acting. Is my body going to get it's energy back and withdraw properly when I'm still taking percocet occassionally or am I just going to continue to feel like **** all the time going in and out of withdrawal????
Until your body adjust to the decrees in opioid you will be in wd.. For long term pain it is not very good and as eagle said not the best for digestive problems.. Hope you are able to find a better solution for your pain... Congrats on getting off the oxys..
In all likelyhood you will continue a vicious cycle by taking the percs. The percs are not very friendly to gastrointestinal problems either.
