wondering

I've almost made a week and found this site--helping me to hang on. My question--will I ever feel normal again? I remember a time when I felt happy without relying on a pill. I'm scared I'll never feel that way again. Is anyone out there know this?

were you taking more before the the lortab day before yesterday and the one yesterday?  if not you shouldn't have any withdrawls.  i have a friend that takes one 7.5 vicodin or even a half ONLY when she needs it- which isn't even every week.  So i guess some ppl can take them without addiction and withdrawal.

YES it gets so much better.  At first there are good and bad days, then you will notice more good than bad.  Eventually it is like waking up out of a dream, where you can feel, relate, cry, laugh and love again.  Hang on!!

It takes awhile to feel normal again.  Cathy has a good journal post about why it takes us so long to feel like or good old selves.
