It is different than alcohol. I actually am a recovering alcoholic who hasn't had a drink in about 3 years. I became addicted to hydrocodone and went cold turkey off of at least double what you are on now. It was rough, but I did it. Please feel free to message me if you have any questions or just want to talk. You can do this and we can help you.

Hi & Welcome,
If you are tapering that is a big leap. It is no wonder you are not feeling well. Tapering is tough and it is tricky. Personally I could never do it but those who have succeeded have done it slow and steady. Where did you get your plan from?
Hey there! Sounds pretty normal to me. Great job on taking the steps to get your life back. Just know that it will be a fight. The longer you taper, the longer you will drag out your symptoms. That's why a lot of folks decide to just go cold turkey and get it over with. The withdrawal symptoms are a little more severe, but usually pass within 3-5 days. Whatever you decide to do, we will be here for you throughout your journey. Try to stay busy and not give yourself time to dwell on how bad you feel. Exercise as much as you can because it really does help. Keep posting. We are here for you my friend.
