Day one with no vicodin

So ive been on viocidin now for 7 months. Today is my first day with out. Im really hot and tiered. But ive done about nothing just getting up to do the laundry was exasting. Is there anything out there to help me get my energy back. And im scared to eat beacause i tried to quit a while back and every time i ate i got cramps from hell. I couldnt' get off of my bathroom floor. Any advice?

check out the Thomas Recipe in most viewed health pages (bottom right corner), It helped me alot during my detox from close to a year of hydro abuse (and occasionally morphine or percocets) I'm now on day 9 after a 5 wk relapse which sadly came after only 37 days of being clean! I definitely agree with VicoMom on the part about lethargy (and for me severe depression and mood swings) which usually show up later on.  Good Luck & keep posting

I'm right there with you... Although this is Day 5 I'm currently struggling through. It does start to get better. The exhaustion is normal... just horribly frustrating. Keep hanging in there...

The hot/cold feeling will subside as will all of the other immediate physical symptoms...

For me it is not the immediate withdrawals that make me go back to them... It's the lethargy later on. I have been reading about vitamins and amino acids and intend to give them a try this time... Which is where I am headed now. Good Luck. :)
