Hard day

day three, finally got a few hours of sleep, i think, woke up and my bed was all torn apart, the rls is the worst, afraid to eat, cannot take the throwing up or the "other" anymore, freezing cold, having a hard time just trying to walk around because of severe "female" pain issues, is this ever going to work itself out?

Jen-  Hot baths ARE the best!  If you can get out to the store:  Get some Benadryl to help you sleep and some Epsom salts to put in the bath.  Fix your bed up so it's comfy.  When in the bath, add hot water to as much as you can stand. Soak your legs, keep adding hot water...  The very hot water soothes those nerve endings...it's really great.  The electric blanket is great too. Anything to warm your bed before you get in;heating pad? Great!    Try to sleep...eat something( toast and green tea?)  You'll probably feel a lot better tomorrow.   Let us know...                   V.

you're almost there! yesterday I bottomed out. I thought I would die. lost 8 lbs in three days, no vomit, just nausea, went to doc and got antianxiety which let me sleep 7 hrs straight. today I am better by the minute. I cant say I want the drugs anymore...god, not with those w/d!!! My stomach is better, my ovaries are normal, my female area is not so jumpy and weird. I took cyclobenzaprine flexiril (non narcotic and non benzo) for the twichy and it really worked. Anyway....honestly, I must be on day - hmmm 4? or so. I cut my intake drastically Monday, Tues my last fraction of oxy, wed I had a few T3 and had some sleep, now, I have some T3 in my pocket b/c I have to drive, go to work, set up a wedding, just in case I feel rotten again, but I actually feel fine. When you start to feel better it's fast. I think eating, moving walking, and SLEEPING are what helped me. I had help sleeping with the anti anxiety, and I'll try not to take it tonight if I don't have to, but one small pill is better than 3 or 4 80's a day I say! You're doing great!
Hot soup, fruit, gingerale and tons of water. I didn't think it would ever end yesterday this exact time, but 24 hours later, I feel like a new person. You WILL get better.

gizzy is right on all of the things that can help if you can get or have an electric blanket I wrapped myself in one when I was in wd its helped sooooo much .It will help with female cramping as well.
i too have my fair share of female problems most bladder now because I had a full hysterectomy . The more you can do the better you will feel maybe not right this minute but it does help.I have found magnesium and calcium really help with pain and sleep but you have to take it for a while

Yaaaaaaa, well done on 3 days. Are you taking anything to help sleep? Some here swear by Hylands restless legs to help with the rls. Bananas and hot baths can help too. Just wanted to wish you luck with your recovery and hope your feeling better soon.

P.S. What were you taking?
