alcohol metabolizes at the rate of .015 an hour...but if a person consumes more than two beers or 1 shot of 86  proof liquor an hour their .BAC will be higher.Again depends on weight as well.In Ohio legal intoxication is .08.I have found that a 160 lb.male who consumes two beers an hour will reach this quickly!I have also found that ppl who drink steady until 1 or 2 am will still blow in the morning!i have encountered those who still reek of alcohol at 10 am!I have found that if ppl consume a beer in a hour..and give their system two hours between drinks their bac's will be lower to nil..but who drinks like that that we used to know?:)Certainly not I but maybe my old designated driver who would let his one beer get warm and he didn't finish it!

I've read that your liver can metabolize 1 oz of alcohol per hour.  I'd imagine it's gone within 24 hours, but that's just a guess.
