How long to go each time Tagulah for it to go? same each time or different. I have just dizziness and light headedness after binge drinking one night. in fact i felt a shift in my head during the night and have been dizzy ever since. It happened to me about 9 years ago and took ages to go. and that was after drinking too, i also felt the shift that night too. it is driving me insane. feels like it will never ever go.It started to go then i went out and drank! stupidly. and now after 2 weeks its still very apparent.
Ohh wow so long ago!! I havent been on here in ages. I started to feel 'normal' after about a month. I dont go on those sort of benders anymore haha but when I do drink I get the same sort of symptoms but nowhere near as bad. I think after that episode I was very dehydrated.
when I take coffee or alcohol I feel immediatelly dizzy ( after 15 minutes). When I go to pub where is lot of tobacco smoke I am lightheaded next days. I lasts about 2-3 days and after this it gets better. I was in EEG and doctor told me he see some irritation of the brain (same like if you have migraine) but it is all what he told me.
After one year I want to share my progress. Doctor said to me it is depression problem and gave me citalec pills. After one year all my problems disappeared and I am now healthy and I am abstinent. I am still using citalec and I am expected to use it for next 7 months. the cause of all your problems could be the depression.
I commend You for accepting Your "wake up call"
Our Bodies DO talk to us but often we just don't 'listen'. If only We'd listen to our bodies, We would be much healthier/happier, both personally and in Our relationships.
PS
It wasn't the "Smirnoff" Vodka - it was the alcohol
Yes this happened to me on Smirnoff Vodka, I did some binge drinking for 2 days and now have Vertigo for last 3 days. I have never had this happen and rarely drink Smirnoff. I think it is somehow related. I was diagnosed with Vertigo years ago and had some problems with it unrelated to drinking but now this is a different kind, not just an intense spell related to an inner ear issue but this is all the time anytime I am laying down and roll over since drinking a few nights ago. This is very scary, because what I have read here from others it lasts a while. I am done drinking for good, this is not good and really a wake up call.
try to look at Kindling effect. I think, this is the reason
