I used to be a very heavy drinker. During that time I was in an accident where I was squeezed between two trucks at the midsection. I was surprised by how much it didn't hurt. I hadn't been drinking yet that day and yet the pain was minimal. I have had many drunk experiences where I felt little pain when falling down or fighting. Is it normal to have people ask why I'm bleeding and not even know that I was bleeding? hmmmm
Well, alcohol is nervous system depressor. Person can be awake, he could be sleeping, but if he`s really drunk, anything is possible.
From my personal experience, I know you can be aware of some things, but not of everything. Your physical senses can be different of your state of consciousness. Few times I was aware somebody was carrying me because they have told me (if they didn`t, maybe I wouldn`t have been aware), but I wasn`t feel it. And if I had been sleeping then, I definitely wouldn`t have been aware of the fact that somebody is carrying me...
I hope I explained it right, I`m not really good in English. You are welcome, and I hope I helped.
Thanks for your response.
My last query ,
Would a really drunk person know if somebody sticks a needle ( injection ) behind them? Here the person is awake but is drunk with same scenario ( severe headache , puked and has little difficulty to walk and talk. )
Thanks in advance.
Yeah, alcohol slows down your nervous system, your functions, reactions and your sences. When you are totally drunk you can fall down, don`t remember it and ask yourself: "Why I have got these brussies?".
If someone stuck a needle into you when you were really drunk, teoretticly you don`t have to feel it or wake up. If someone did IV on you, you can see the trace of it. And why do you think someone did?
If you don`t drink often and much, than this quanitty could have been enough for you to be really drunk. It also depends if you were eating or drinking fast...
We had this sort of question not to long ago......let me go and find them.
