So glad things are better (in a way, at least) for your mom.
I was an alcoholic for many years, but stopped drinking abruptly 20 years ago when I realized I'd die if I continued on.
You both are in my thoughts and prayers, and PLEASE also take care of yourself before you wind up in the hospital too!
Take care,
Kathy
Hi everyone, well Mom is still in the hospital after pleding with the rehab worker and nurse that she needs more care. She is confused and her blood circulation is poor. My sister and I need to find her home fast. Most of them have a waiting list of one year or more. Plus they are $2000.00 a month plus. We are not sure about the government ones. We heard so many bad things about them. We are just taking one day at a time right now. Thank God mom is stable and not critical anymore.
thank you all for your prayers. Maggie xoxoxo
Hi Maggie, you are a huge support to your Mum, she has allot to be grateful for but you must look after your own health as well, will cancelling your app tomorrow help your Mum. These are just my thoughts and I do know how difficult it must be for you at this time

Hi, thanks for all your prayers and support. Well, mom is not doing well. She cannot walk at all. My sister and I think maybe she had a stroke. You know hospitals you have to drag everything out of them. Anyway, she will be going to short term rehab. Which is right in the hospital. She thinks she is going home. She doesn't realize that she probably will never be going home. It is so sad because her home was built by my father, he was a contractor. My mom loves her home and now she has to be in the hospital. probably untl the end.
She is sleeping alot. Which is not a good sign. I don't know anything else right now. We are just taking day by day. I am so stressed out though. My home is a mess. I am having gastric bypass surgery done soon and I have all these appointments to go to. I just had to cancel tommorrows. I guess this is where the self pity comes in. I should be praying instead. Thank you everyone for your messages. Maggie
Thinking of you, please keep us posted, stay strong, your shares have helped me a lot. I have two grown up children 31 and 34 years old.
Mom was getting blood transfusion. She went through 2 bags already while I was there.
Mom is still very very weak and cannot walk.
Also, she cannot urinate. We think all her organs are shutting down. This is a terrible, gusome way to die.
thanks everyone for your prayers and support.
Maggie

Hi everyone, well mom is not doing well at all. She is very weak. Of course she lost alot of blood. My poor sister had to go clean her house and throw out the mattress which was covered in blood. Anyway, her heartbeat is irregular and she cannot walk. She had a blood transfusion and is getting IV. The nurse said it did not look good. Well, back to the hospital and hopefully will get some answers. Again, please stop drinking. Look what I am going through, do you and your family want to go through this. thanks and take care, Maggie
Ditto....
Will keep your mum in my thoughts & prayers....
