Occassional binge drinking long term effects

If you occasionally heavily binge drink(once a month or less) and this has temporary effects such as increased heart rate during drinking, muscle aches and mild stomach irritation for the next few days, is this likely to have long term effects?  Also, does passive smoking from other peoples cigarettes on nights out cause any long term damage?

Hi Matt,

Geez! Call me crazy , cause I might have missed something Are you saying you are a health conscience young man, who fears heart decease
,cancer, second hand smoke and lives a healthy lifestyle to avoid serious illness????......."Other than occasional HEAVY drinking??

Well that is the craziest  thing I have ever heard coming from a non-alcoholic!  I mean I am used to drunks being delusional , but if you do not thing you are one, then you also have pretty delusional thinking.

Heavy drinking, binge drinking can lead to one of the WORSE deceases of all times "Alcoholism". So IMOO I would cut back on those "occasional one night stands with the bottle".

I am worried about heart disease and cancer in particular. Other than the occassional heavy drinking, I lead a healthy lifestyle with healthy eating and regular exercise.
