Well that thread got too long so here we go ladies......maintaining sobriety and sanity in this oftentimes insane life continues.....what an order.....but i must go thru with it......saw a cool saying 2 day by Winston Churchill"If ur going thru hell...keep going!and keep going we must!
UR absolutely right about UR blood sugar! But more than that!!!! Keep in mind what mental despite physical turmoil does 2 us! U R MENTALLY TAXED right now BCUZ of what U have been going thru! Thank GOD for your Hubby and Rock! I am so wooried about U! You need 2 take care of U right now!!! U have stretched URself 2 thin and it is affecting U! Pleeze let Yor mind have a rest and try to bodily rest!!! U have done 2 much lately HONEY!!! We are only capable of so much!!!!! LOVE U LOT"S + LOT"S Terry

You both are sweethearts and Ibi is too, don't tell her though, i don't want her to get the big head. ha ha
The psych will be seeing my Mom today at the rehab place. Thank you Lord. I pray this will start some results for her mental problem.
Last night was so scary. okay, i woke up at 2:30. Terrible stomach cramps. I got up to go to the bathroom. When i got to our door my knees buckled and i tried to stop it from happening and couldn't. Fell flat. My husband helped me up and i went down the hall and entered the bathroom door and it happened again. He came immediately. Thank goodness. I crawled to the toilet got on it and fell off of it. He held onto me from that moment on. It is the weirdest thing that has ever happened to me. I mean, i use to fall when i was drinking, but i wasn't. Sober as most judges.
I wish now we had checked my blood sugar last night to see if it had bottomed out. Anyway, my leg,knee,ankle and toe, plus my right elbow hurt today. Nothing new on the meds. So i just don't know. I will get in to my dr. as soon as i can, but she's out of the office today. Thanks for being on this forum with me. I feel like we are really getting to know each other and need each others support. OK Phtartist..I already got to you! Now the rest of ya's ladies...I will B trying my best to lighten up the moods and spread some fun 4 the next few days! Hope it is OTAY? I know we R all going thru BS in 1 shape or form or another! Hey we can not solve everyone else's problems as much as we'd like to. Good advice from us and given to us is great! What we do with it is another matter. I don't mean BS to sound insignificant it's just a term I'm using. I know TJack and Ibizan U are going thru some tough times right now with MOM's and families. I'm glad I talked to my sponsor. My daughter wrote me an e-mail saying that the guy my son's fiance was on the phone at the party with was her gay friend Brian. I am glad, previously, I told my daughter " I can't wait to hug you" which the fiance said on the phone that night at the party was not an inflammatory thing to say to anyone. It wasn't I cannot wait to wrap my legs around you! It wasn't even " I can't wait to kiss you".
Sobriety does make us level headed. It gives us the Serenity Prayer, and teaches us to stay out of other peoples business, even if it is our kids. Mine are both over 29 years old.
I'm glad when the fiance called to thank me for the collage/birthday gift, I was gracious to her. She is still young, 23, which tells me some things. They have been together 6 years.
I do still wish my son was the focus in her life right now BUT we no longer live in the 50's sitcom land and the white picket fence isn't always the focus of women these days. It's funny, my son seems to be more focused on that than she.

Yes, you really do have to look out for yourself and be an advocate for family members.
At least i tell myself those places are on the same page with me now.
I'm not doing the hormone thing anymore either. It wasn't helping. Hope you feel better soon. Thanks for you input. T

TJack..It is frustrating how inept so many Dr.s are. So sorry you had to deal with that. Maybe now your family out there will know how to proceed with her clear of drugs and can do it again. Its not back to step one, just a do over.
Same for me. All my tests came back negative, urine and vag. smear. just a bit of cocci in the bladder which the nurse prac. said is nothing. The test was done just post antibiotics. Anything found may be the reason I am still suffering. She tells me I need hormone treatment. I say no........I am post menopausal 6 years now. Done, caput, fine'. Harmones for the bladder function?? She said my choice not to use hormone therapy is a choice to suffer. All this **** started since I went in July 8th with post intercourse pain. @&#$^# !!!!
Do any Drs. know what they are doing, Do they look at the full picture? Do they check all meds your on and see if something is f----ing up something else? No, I had to do this, therefore, I have found my own answers and now I have to now find an answer to this. My first step is oral acidophilus and yogurt sepositories vaginally (hippy days solution). Next test my own urine with UTI test strips. Actually I use my fish tank Nitrate test strips. Plus, the ph test strips. You get so many strips and tests for your money and they are accurate.
I once heard your diagnosis is the dr. you go to. I believe it is true.
