This May Sound Crazy

Sorry folks, but I really don'y drink and never have.  But for some reason, after my first Grand-mal seizure in July 2010, every time they test my blood, it comes back with a high alcohol content.  one time as high as .17.  I don't cook with alcohol, use mouthwash, or any over the counter medications.  my dr. said that my prescribed meds. would not cause this.  Now, they put in my med records that I am a denied alcoholic.  Does anyone have any suggestions.  I don't drink because I choose to break the "cycle" of a family of alcohlics. Please respond, I am desperate.  Thanx.

the small amounts of alcohol..used as a preservative/stabilizer for shelf life in the foods u mentioned are not enough  for someone to have a blood alcohol level of .17.Its just not possible!thats VERY high!

A lot of food have ETOH in them. Soy sauce, artificial sugars. read the lables. I have to have random testing for alcohol I read the lables. On the other hand if your doctors does not believe in you, you should get anothe doctor. He could ruine you reputation and future insurance companies will have access to his records.
