Here you go. That should help a little. As you can see 4.5 is off the chart.. Someone must have unbelievable, unhuman-like tolerance to survive 1% much less 4.5% They are in fact human right?
Okay...bedtime for me... I'm getting a little goofy/slap happy...
I think at 4.5% that should do more than intoxicate a person. I think the above people must be right that it's a typo.
If you know someone with a BAL of .45 and he/she is up walking around, then he/she is definitely an alcoholic but probably on the verge of death. Most people would be passed out cold, but an alcoholic can function (not well but much better than a social drinker) with a much higher BAL -- .2 to .3 is common.
Like ibizan said, .045 is about one drink, depending on the size of the person. To be considered too impaired to drive in Florida the limit is .08. Above .08 a person is considered too impaired TO DRIVE, but many people might not be intoxicated at all.
do u mean .45?or .045?.45 would be heading towards alcohol poisoning and .045 would mean halfway intoxicated..... .08 is legal intox in ohio....think this may be nationwide now!
