i recently stopped drinking agai after 5 great sober month im currently in australia and relapse due to relationship issues...i did a 5 day bender 2and a half liters of wine a day barley ate then my girl put her footdown and stopped me....but the withdraw was the worst and has been its my second day and some great guys in program tried to detox me but it didnt work i started getting the sweats and my bp went uo to 180/110 and heart rate was 140 i had to go to the er im still going throug hell im having trouble sleeping and im wondering how long is this gonna last and its normal im on my own out here in aussie thanks!

I can empathize.  Been there and done that.  can you in program.  I had to .  Was put on librium, slept the first day and was on that drug for 4 days.  Had anti depressants changed by psych doc.  saw her everyday.  It was like a miracle for me.  Don't give up. There is help out there.  Ibi and Rodd know what they speak of.  They know much more than me.  I can just say Life is good again and it can be for you as well.  TJ

look at it in the short term...u will get thru this and who knows for sure timewise?but the longterm if u don't stop...it ends one up in jail death or chronic irreversible painful health problems........if u can eat....high fiber foods fresh fruits vegetables lean sources of protein and lots of water!like rod says.....get to an AA meeting...u need sober support and so many there have been thru what ur now going thru!

you are not on your own, get to an AA meeting and you will get help. I have been to many AA meetings in different country's and the welcome is always warm and welcoming.
you need to see a doctor and get some help with the Withdrawels...
