Hi. You could still be suffering from a number of things or be on the verge of initiating a more severe problem. Since the alcohol seems to make things worse, it would probably be helpful to remove it from the equation. I can promise you it won't hurt. Additionaly, continue to see your doctor and be honest with them about your alcohol use and how it seems to aggravate your symptoms. Best wishes, GM

Hello, I think that alcohol may be the underlying cause. My sides seem to feel much better if I haven't drank the day before. I have had ultrasound and cat scan, both reflecting no negitive results. Kidneys, bladder, liver ect showed no problems. As I mentioned prior, bowel movements seem to be a problem also. I have taken fiber and a colon cleanse(sp) that seem to help. This pain, on my right side is worse than the left side and has been there for 4-5 months now. Thanks

Hello. Based on your symptoms, you could be suffering from several different conditions. Could you be more specific, and additionally, I am assuming that alcohol is a factor based upon the content of this forum. Whatever the case, an honest consultation with a competent physician would be most beneficial as things like laboratory tests and x rays or cat scans may be necessary. Best of luck-GM
