Zoloft side effects

Has anyone here ever taken Zoloft? If so wat were your side effects? I started Zoloft on Monday. I only took one pill n within a couple of hours I felt horrible! I had nausea n diarrhea. Today is Thursday and I still feel nauseas. Keep in mind it took one pill on Monday n no more after that. Please give me some input. Thanks

yes i was weak and felt like i was always gonna throw up n the mornings mostly. it made me feal really disorientated ALL day long, and it gave me really weird nightmares also, but that might have been from the stress, but i know someone else that said it gave them nightmares also

I've been taking Zoloft for yrs.When I first started it ,I had lots of side effects,but hung in there.It took about 8 to 12 weeks for me to start feeling better. Some people feel better sooner than that though.Everyone is different.

Dance mommy. Did u feel nauseas n weak also? I jus felt weird n was having weird thoughts.  It's scary

i was on it 4 like 6 weeks and i hated it, i weened myself off just this past week and i feel almost 100% better without the zoloft, i always felt woozy and dizzy, my head felt really buzzed constantly, maybe it doesnt happen 2 everyone, but it definetely did 2 me

With one pill it's difficult to say if you have a bug or a reaction to the medication.  Call your doctor, there is an adjustment period of a week or two with these types of medication but nothing this severe.  I also feel that the medication is out of your system and not the cause of your nausea.  You need to work very closely with your prescribing doctor when you start a new medication, so give him/her a call and go from there.  Best wishes.
