The most frustrating thing about anxiety

is when you know your completely fine but you can't help but worry.

My anxiety has been doing great lately (I'm not using medication) and this morning I ate breakfast with my dad at a local diner. While I was sitting there, I was thinking to myself what if i get anxiety. what will I do?

Then i could feel my anxiety rise a bit. It;s frustrating because I knew I was fine, but I almost forced myself into having the anxiety.

Hi Matthomas, okay so the advice I would have for you is very simple indeed! Like yourself I have been suffering on and off with anxiety over the years, but thankfully it has gotten a lot less and above all I have learned and managed how to control these ghastly issues in my life" All I can say to you is try and practice PMT which is "positive mental attitude" and once you master that, go onto the
"deep breathing excercises" and between the pair of these tools, I not only promise you but make no mistake you will be once again in control of your own life as it is all only in our head as in our mind, and each and every one of us can and will overcome this;..I wish you well and please feel free to contact me at any time, should you need guindance or support, Sharon X

I do the exact same thing.  I am anxious about anxiety!  I even know in my head that I'm completely fine, and it's an irriational fear, but just can't seem to turn my brain off when it comes to obsessing about how I feel.  I wish I had some advice for you!

Its funny you mention this, I have found myself  (when I was anxious) bringing my own little mini-episodes on, I just stopped thinking that way.

You know you're fine, then you think you're doing fine, but you are used to being anxious, you think there is something not quite right, so then you worry and voila, there's your anxiety. Its a stupid cycle, you'll get out of it though. You just need to refrain your thinking, that's all.
