Too anxious cant even function

Dr,
I went and recieved a tattoo two weeks ago from a reputed place, but 3-4 days after i started feling feverish and it had continued for about two weeks. my temperature runs from 98.5 to 98.8 . also  i have noticed that I had a fever of 99 couple of days. Since I have a history of anxiety attacks , now I cant function because I feel as if I have some type of disease. My body has started emitting a lot of heat at night and cant fall asleep because of that . Due to that I wake up at night to find out that I'm sweating around my neck and groin area.I met my physician and informed him of my situation , and he had my blood drawn for further testing. I;m a nervous a wreck. I have also heard that two weeks is not sufficient time to diagnose any diseases , is that true. Please help. The tattooist opened all the equipment in front of me , but might have touched a surface that was not covered during the procedure.(cross cables)  When asked whether i was exposed , his answer was that they disinfect all equipment between clients.I was not satisfied with his answer. Please help . !!!!!!!!!!!!

well thats normal, i mean instead of checking your own temp why dont u check the room temperature, if its about 78 degrees or even if its not its normal. I myself sweat at night sometimes when i sleep with clothing. I see no reason to alarm all these are phsycological, as for the groin, thats completely normal i mean everyones balls get sweaty at some point especially when sleeping.  And stop checking your temperature so much even if it were a little high it doesnt give a sign of any disease, it could be because of the weather. Tatoo parlors are completely safe now a days a client getting infected with a disease is almost impossible, the guy doing the tatoo has the risk because he might cut himself with the needle used on the person. Dont worry about this at all. Hiv or watever A.R.S symptoms are A very nasty rash and diarhea that last a week, well this occurs on most people but all this that your telling me is only symptoms of stress and anxiety. Get on with your life.

How about the body emitting heat at night to a point where you start sweating around your neck and groin? I did check the temperature at that time , but turned out to be between 97.5 to 98.00
