Anxiety related dizziness and fainting?

I have had anxiety since I was 12. I am 26 now. I am currently taking Paxil CR 12.5 mg for it. I been on it since January 9, 2008. (I took it before this as well, 3 years ago.) I get these bad headaches, and I feel lightheaded as well, like dizzy, and my legs feel weak, and I am terrified to pass out. Can I pass out from being lightheaded or having a headache? I was told this is all anxiety, but I just want to make sure. All responses are much appreciated. I am very happy to have found this forum group, because I never knew so many people with the same anxiety issues actually existed. I thought I was the only one. Thanks in advance.

Feb 4th, and Feb5th I went both days without that feeling of being lightheaded. I am happy about that. I kept myself busy both days, and I feel a little better than usual.
Thanks.

I feel the same exact way, I dont take any meds though, I get weak legs, and very light headed and dizzy, I have never passed out but always am affraid I will. I am terrified as well about passing out. I have been dealing with anxiety for 7 years and have been checked by soooo mant doctors and they all say it's anxiety. So hang in there. Mindy

Actually, it sounds like you may be having a drop in blood pressure when standing, that could be hormone related, anemia related, sugar related or something else physical including a negative reaction to some action of the paxil. I would DEFINATLY insist your GP see you immediatly before you injure yourself because that does sound like seriouse cause for concern.
