Miss Celtic,
I understand exactly how you feel... I started having anxiety attacks when I didn't even feel anxious or nervous about something. I'm sure there is something in the back of your mind that you have maybe blocked out that is making you have anxiety. The first anxiety attack I had I thought I couldn't breathe, but I was talking and talking so it was all in my head. You just need to find something that calms you down, maybe some kind of therapy :)
wel good day to u all i have funney feeling in my eyes heavy and light headed, tingling in my fingers, all ways feel unbalance nauchus feeling sometimes no pain just all feeling been like this for about three years now just dont no what to do....
I would agree with everyone here. In my experience, anxiety symptoms can remain with you pretty much all the time in some cases. Just because you are not feeling anxious does not mean that you are not. I continued to have spasms and terrible headaches. I also noticed palpitations but I was also concerned with health (specifically heart health), so I probably just noticed them more because I was so hyperaware off every little symptom relating to it.
There are many approaches that you can take in dealing with this. For me, the most important step I took was to go get counseling. It gave me the knowledge about the anxiety and in turn enabled me to confront it. Keep us posted!
There are many ways to handle your anxiety. It does not seem that either one of you are having anxiety to the point that you cannot function. Kellz, I'm pretty certain you don't have a brain tumor or anything like that. Stressful situations lead to irrational thoughts, and then boom, the panic sets in.
You can both try some breathing exercises. One is to take a deep breath in through your nose, hold it for 5 seconds and count this out in your head, and then let it all out through your mouth. This can be done without anyone even noticing you are doing it. Do this when you start to feel panic set in or when the heart palpitations start to set in. Do it for a few minutes or at least until you have managed to calm yourself down.
Meditation is also another good way to calm yourself. Youtube has a lot of meditation videos that you can try.
Lastly, if for some reason you get into a funk that you just cannot get out of, then the best thing to do is to seek therapy. They can teach you CBT, cognitive behavioral therapy, to manage your anxiety or discuss with you medication options if that is your choice.
In any case, this is not something you have to live with. It can be managed quite effectively with the right strategies and help.

Absolutely. The subconscious is a powerful thing. It is what wakes us up in the middle of the night in a shear panic. So even though you think you are not worrying about something, it is lurking in your subconscious and you are showing the symptoms of it. It is also possible to hyperventilate and not even know it.
