This health anxiety is crazy! It totally monopolizes our lives. Diversion is the only way to do it! It takes lots of practice but it is beginning to work!
I am trying, however I need a new job. It causes more stress than needed. i need to be on medicine, however I do not handle the side effects well at all. I just have the worst health anxiety, and I am tired of being scared. im glad you are doing much better this summer. Best wishes
Summer is much better this year than last. (Even though I am going through this thing with my mouth.) I have been keeping busy and my daughter keeps me very busy!!! My husband is also only working part time this summer so having him around helps me also. Last year I was a new mom (my daughter was adopted from China in March 2006) and I think I was very overwhelmed. Also, I have been taking Charles Linden's advice (the linden Method)..DIVERSION...Last year I stayed home all the time because I was a little phobic about going out. This year I keep busy and get out of the house as much as possible. Also, my daughter is in daycare 2 days a week which gives me time to unwind and do what I need to do for me.
Thank you for asking! And yes! I am very excited about starting school again! Believe me, I get anxious with work too, but it seems to subside much quicker once I am in the routine!
