Panic Disorder-PLEASE HELP

Hello, I decided to post here because i feel i have nowhere to turn to.\

Iv'e been having severe anxiety due to a side effect of prozac and celexa. I was only on them for about 2 weeks. (For Depression.)

It has now been about a week and a half since i stopped those meds and i take Ativan when needed which doesnt even seem to help me.

Shouldnt this Panic be Gone??? Or did the side effect from the drug, (which was the panic attack) actually make me have Panic disorder because of the fear of getting another one????

Another question: Is it normal to feel some symptoms of a panic attack 24/7- like shortness of breath, nausea and chest tightness, hot flushes      (from the second i wake up to the time i fall asleep?) Will this go away or do i actually have to deal with Panic disorder now?????? Please help!!!

I have the trouble breathing almost all day.  Everyone says it's a sign of panic and I should believe them (including the doctors) since I have it on and off for so long, but when it's on again, it's hard to believe anyone.

I am going to the Breath and Lung Institute and giving the doctors one last chance to find something wrong with me then I will surrender and say it's panic and wait for all my new meds to set it.

Wish me luck!  I am driving my 2 adult children crazy.  58 year old crazy lady :)
